About me

A Little About Me

Music and wellbeing have always been a big part of my life, although the journey that brought me here hasn’t been entirely straightforward!

My love of music began at an early age. Growing up, I studied classical clarinet and singing, sang in a church choir and was fortunate enough to perform across Europe and at beautiful venues including St John’s, Smith Square and Southwark Cathedral in London. Although my working life eventually took me into accountancy, where I spent 20 years, music has always remained an important part of who I am.

Yoga has been another constant. I first discovered it at 15 and have practised ever since, finding that it has helped me through the different stages and challenges of life.

My journey into sound healing began when I attended a sound bath with Selda, who would later become my teacher. I remember being struck by something surprisingly simple: for the first time in a long time, I had completely switched off. Outside of yoga, I’d rarely experienced that feeling. Inspired by Selda and the experience, I went on to complete my Level 1 and Level 2 sound healing training with her in person, bringing together my musical background and my passion for wellbeing in a way that felt completely natural.

As a mum of two, I understand how busy life can be and how difficult it is to find a moment of genuine stillness. I’m particularly passionate about sharing these practices with young people, having seen first-hand the difference yoga can make to teenagers who might never otherwise have considered trying it.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: everyone deserves a little space to slow down, breathe and reconnect with themselves. Wellbeing shouldn’t feel like a luxury reserved for a few, and making my sessions welcoming and accessible is incredibly important to me.

Whether you’re completely new to yoga and sound baths or have been practising for years, my hope is that you’ll leave feeling a little calmer, a little lighter and more connected to yourself.

Kind words

Little moments.
Shared experiences.

Kind words from people who have joined my sessions.

Lisa is a warm, lovely human and you feel relaxed and comfortable in her energy right from the start. I nervously attended my first sound bath and Lisa made me feel so welcomed and relaxed from the beginning! It was a much needed session after a long period of stress and I came home and had the best sleep I’ve had in ages! I highly recommend attending any of her work/sessions ☺️

— Sam Hyam

I’ve been a regular at Lisa’s sound baths. They’re relaxing and uplifting and Lisa makes everyone feel so welcome and nurtured. I’m looking forward to introducing more of my friends and students to Lisa’s Sound Baths.

I've been to quite a few of Lisa's sound baths over the years, and I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

It's such a unique experience and one that's really difficult to put into words. Every session feels different, and I think that's part of what makes them so special. Everyone takes something different away from it.

Lisa provides everything you need, so all you have to do is lie back, get comfortable and let yourself become immersed in the sounds and vibrations. It's incredibly relaxing (I've even drifted off to sleep a couple of times!).

Lisa has a real talent for what she does, and you can really tell how much she loves it.

I don't want to give too much away because I genuinely think it's something you need to experience for yourself. If you've never tried a sound bath before, I'd absolutely encourage you to give it a go. You might just find yourself going back again and again, like me!

— Regular Sound Bather

I highly recommend Lisa’s soundbath sessions, they are incredible! After every session I feel amazing and so relaxed. Thank you Lisa, keep bringing the magic.

Lisa has a way of making you feel so at ease, her sound baths are incredible. The energy in the room relaxes me so much I always fall asleep!

— Amy D

Lisa has the bowl skills to make me fully relaxed, occasionally asleep, and always uplifted. It would take a lot to keep me away from the regular sessions and I really look forward to them. I can’t recommend her enough.

— Clare, Sussex

Every so often, I find myself at one of Lisa’s sound baths, and it’s an experience like no other. Lisa has a way of making the bowls transport you into a dreamlike state. I work from home and have a stressful job, so a sound bath really helps me restore my balance and reset. Every experience is different, which makes each session feel special. Lisa’s calming voice, combined with the sound of the bowls, creates something that feels like pure magic. I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and recharged.

— Brittney S

Lisa’s yoga was very enjoyable and having done it for over a year I developed my flexibility and always felt so good and relaxed after every session. The sound baths that she put on were also very calming and relaxing and I would recommend her highly.

— Tom

We try to attend Lisa’s soundbaths as often as we can. We usually take turns, as we have to juggle childcare but we love it when we go.

Lisa creates a warm and welcoming space for people to be themselves and meet other like minded people. She is building a wonderful community, with or without her knowledge! She guides the class well and it’s so easy to relax fully in the beautiful, comfortable environment.

We always feel so relaxed but also energised after a class. Like walking on air.

I especially love the song at the end. I’m always googling it on the way home and adding to my own playlist!

Thanks a million

— Lisa and Craig Wanden

Lisa’s sound baths have been instrumental in helping me and my teenage daughter manage stress and anxiety. The sessions provide a calming and rejuvenating experience, promoting a sense of peace and well-being. Over the past year, we have consistently attended her sessions and continue to return due to their proven health benefits and effectiveness in maintaining our overall wellness.

— Minodora & Christina

I first met Lisa a few years ago when she helped me with some homeopathic remedies for my daughter.

Sometime later, Lisa messaged to say she was hosting a sound bath. I'd heard plenty of good things about sound healing and thought I'd give it a try. I was dubious on arrival, as I'd never been before and didn't know how I would respond. But I felt a release of energy you have to experience to understand, and a deep sense of calm. When I say you leave feeling lighter, I'm not exaggerating. I've been back a few times now, and each time I come away with a different experience, but equally amazing.

For someone so tiny in stature, Lisa has huge energy. I don't know how she does it, but she creates such calmness. She is incredible. 🫶

Written with love and gratitude

— Adelle

I love going to Lisa’s sound baths when I get the chance. She’s such a lovely, warm, holistic lady and you can really feel that in everything she does. The whole experience is so welcoming, calming and relaxing and I always come away feeling lighter and more grounded. Such a lovely way to switch off and reset after a busy week. Thanks for everything you do.

— Teresa

I recently attended my first-ever sound bath with Lisa and wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an incredible experience. Lisa created such a warm, cosy, and inviting atmosphere that I felt instantly at ease. It was deeply relaxing from start to finish, and I left feeling completely restored. Highly recommended!
